West Suffolk Council is calling for bin-fluencers to share information on bin collection changes to make sure friends and neighbours don’t miss a collection due to the August Bank Holiday.

All bins will be collected one day late on the week commencing Monday 26 August 2024. Normal collections will resume from Monday 2 September 2024. Residents can check collections online at: Find my nearest.

Cllr David Taylor, Cabinet Member for Operations, said: “We’re always grateful for the help of West Suffolk bin-fluencers in helping friends, families and neighbours to put their bins out. We’re also asking residents to keep up the good work with recycling, as we are all trying to reduce waste and re-use more. For those having a clear out over the summer holiday and are not sure if particular items can be recycled, please visit: Suffolk Recycles - What to do with? (A-Z).”
