Haverhill Recreation Ground
The Recreation Ground is in the centre of Haverhill and is home to many great events held throughout the year.
The Recreation Ground is home to the Bandstand which was erected in 2000 as part of the millennium celebrations and a large and well kept children's play area.

- The splashpad is open from 10am to 6pm between 1 April to 30 September on weekends plus bank holidays and school holidays only between these dates. The splashpad may be closed without notice due to weather, maintenance, or safety requirements. Any maintenance concerns can be reported to Haverhill Town Council staff at the kiosk or if closed visit the Haverhill Town Council Website or by phone on telephone number 01440 712858.

There is a circular walking route around the park.
The two main routes across the site and to the children’s play area are a hard surface suitable for wheelchair users.
History
Haverhill Recreation Ground was once an orchard and fields before it was bequeathed to the town in 1897 by the Gurteen family in remembrance of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. After the landscaping work was carried out the park opened to the public.
