Flexi-stay
  • To use the flexi-stay machines:
    • enter your vehicle registration and confirm
    • tap or insert card (pre-session approval)
    • tap card to confirm session start
    • when leaving, tap or insert card at any machine within the car park to confirm end of session
    • payment will be taken for total session time.

  • There is a pending transaction sitting in my account:
    • This is just authorisation of a holding fee for the bank, stating that we will take no more than cost for the day charge. When the parking session has finished and the card is swiped when exiting the car park, the original holding fee will be returned and the correct fee will be taken based on the time parked. The holding fee will be a pending charge and can take between 3-5 days depending on your banking provider to return to your account.
    • If the parking session is not concluded, a charge for the day rate will be taken.
  • You will not receive an Penalty Charge Notice for driving through the car park. There is no number plate recognition software, so if people are driving through they will not receive an Penalty Charge Notice.
  • This is a cashless car park. Similar schemes have been successfully introduced in other areas.

  • Blue badge holders can park in the flexi-stay:
    • You can access the blue badge tariff after entering your registration number. Please note, you must display your blue badge in the usual way if you have opted for the blue badge tariffs.
  • The free from 3 promotion that applies on Tuesdays is still offered at the flexi-stay car park. If you are returning to your vehicle after 3pm, you will not need to end your parking session as this will have been done automatically and the relevant payment until 3pm will be applied.
